• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Remove your hood rod and do this!!!

Had to remove mine once the Carbon Fiber hood was installed, however they work great on stock hoods!

One of the first mods I did to my Tacoma, same exact Redline gas struts. I couldn't see spending the extra $$$ for their all stainless version. Mine have worked great with zero issues for the past 3 years.

Heck yea we’ll that’s good to know :)!!! I love mine so far just 1 week with them lol

How u liking the hood? Especially offroad?
I love it! Cuts down about 15#s looks awesome and a perfect fit! For some additional protection I added some Ultra LineX to the outside, line the inside with some heat retardant and still need to install the hood pins but I have them on hand! Expensive mod but well worth it! No issues off-road
