SO i'm considering getting the black rear bumper inserts to replace the chrome ones. Rock auto has them Part #TO1105133 an #TO1104133.

Any one do this already or are you guys color matching or plastidipping?

I think it's a personal preference thing on if you want these black ones or color matched ones. But even if you do decide to color match, it is way better to paint over the black ones you're getting than sanding down your chrome ones and painting those.

Yeah , true. I’m definitely getting rid of the chrome. It’s the little things ..

I agree, My 2017 TRD Offroad came with the chrome caps as well. I removed them a while ago, and hit them with bare material self etching primer and top coated them with Rustoleum Gloss Black, followed by a few coats of wax occasionally. I loved the look of it, and the finish held up pretty darn good. Then I start wheeling a few spots where my departure angel ideal and started scratching them up.

That came out really nice. I planned to do the same for mine, but as it turns out Dupli-Color doesn't make a 1D6 paint code aerosol.

I ended up Plasti-Dipping mine as a temporary solution. Long-term I plan to get a plate bumper, but in the meantime I may have the bumper caps and fender flares Line-X'd. I miss the silver bumper caps that came standard on my SR, though. I wish I could've taken them off and swapped them when I traded it in.
