problem with after market third brake light

I have 2022 toyota tacoma trd sport ,i bought after market smoked third brake light that was supposed to be plug and play after taking my interior all apart my factory harness fits the new light to loosely for a good connection is there anyone that knows a way i can fix this .

What aftermarket company light did you get?

The brand name is axial

That happens with aftermarket sometimes. The stock one looks great.. just tint that one if you have to change it. All the aftermarket third brake lights look awful.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking i just ordered one out of California from a company that buys oem lights and smokes them from the pictures on their website they turn out pretty nice thanks so much for your reply

Did you check the connector going into the back of the light?

yes, with the aftermarket light it was a different design to which my factory plug fit to loosely it didnt lock into place like my oem light
