Pre-Purchase Question Pressure Washer Undercarriage Cleaner?

So in this time of boredom trapped in my house I've been scouting around for new toys for my truck and I came across this:

As someone who drives on the beach and then throws a sprinkler under the truck when I get home, I was wondering if this might be a better way. Anyone have any experience with such a device?

Up here on the peninsula, ive had a few dudes mention using pvc pipe with holes punched in down the line then a t connection, to the hose voila. Havent tried it yet though
