What are the possibilities for fitting Tundra towing mirrors on my 2023 Taco?

I have a friend that fitted her 2016 Tundra with 2023 Tacoma mirrors, you would think it would reverse fit a Tacoma, but I question this because I wouldn't know what year to try fitting. It's not for any other reason than the look I am after.
 
Well I pulled the trigger and got myself some 2022 Tacoma tow mirrors, how do you like them?

Also, the working K9 is smaller than I expected.

Install was painless, after removing door panel mirror is being held by 3 10mm nuts, unscrew them after unplugging electrical connectors to the mirrors, it is a simple removal and a plug and play installation of the mirrors. Video link to removal of door panels included:

As to the working K9 this Miniature Schnauzer is a presenter that alerts the presence of cancer in people, the other dogs I use to have been both Belgium Shepards that are on permanent assignment in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii as cadaver and hazardous materials K9's.
