Hey guys, after a couple years on TW and providing valuable info from all the SEMA builds to taco knowledge and places to visit I was banned for taking a shortcut through what looked like a dry lake bed. Anyways, just here to share info and stay out of trouble...

Different variations of my rig over the many years I've had it.

Hey dude, welcome to T3G. Sick photos and interesting spare swing/bed rack. So you drove through an area that got you banned from TW?

Hey dude, welcome to T3G. Sick photos and interesting spare swing/bed rack. So you drove through an area that got you banned from TW?

Thanks! Yeah, my buddies and I went kayaking and letting the dogs play at a near lake. Took the long way, dirt road to where we ended up as we wanted to play with the articulation on the trucks and it was nice and washed out. Got to the lake, which was very low due to the drought, and kayaked, let the dogs play. Anyways, while kayaking we found another dirt road not far from where we were that would save us an hour of crawling back through what we came in. To get to it, we had to drive through about 150 yards of dry lake bed. (Or at least what we though was dry at the time) My truck cracked through and got stuck. We recovered with no issues and found a better area to cross.

Turns out that people took severe offense that we drove on the dry lake bed and some remarks started to get deragatory. Things escalated quickly as I responded and shit got out of control. I decided that I had enough of the shit and it was not worth my time so I just deleted my posts to not agravate things even more. Apparently bad move as they didn’t take it well and then I was banned.

Past is past, done with that forum.
