• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Overland report for a neat spot near Reedsport

If anyone is interested in going I'd be happy to lead an expedition of Tacos.

i'm down next time! unless of course i find out last minute that someone else planned my weekend for me again

Nice video! How low do you guys air down in the sand? I’ve never gotten my off-road stuck so my traction boards are virgins. Wife and I prefer camping away from camp grounds when we don’t have our granddaughter along.

In this particular situation only DJ aired down (the grey 2nd gen) and that was only so he could pull the Durango out.. The fellow in the Durango didn't have much sand experience. The Jeep and I just put it in 4 and had no issues. I normally air down to 10-15 depending on sand conditions though. Also, this was a dispersed campsite, it was just pretty well established and popular.
