One of the issues I see with a lot of bumpers on newer trucks is winch accessibility. There are a lot of sexy bumpers out there that look great however their functionality for winching is poor. Many bumpers have the winch line coming off at an angle. Think about that for a moment. In my experience what this leads to is your winch line immediately coming into contact with the fair-lead and since the majority of folks use a hawse fairlead this causes a tremendous strain and wear on the rope. Just my .02$
