• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Hello everyone! My name is Sarah and I live in Chandler, AZ. I picked up my 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road last July. I went with the 2wd with locking rear diff. I’m new to off roading and have been absolutely loving it! I’ve never loved a vehicle the way I love my truck!

I’m so happy to have found this forum where people seem quite positive and there is a noticeable lack of negativity. I’ve gotten bashed on other sites for choosing the 2wd off road but it’s just the right amount of truck for me and how I want to use it! The Tacoma community is amazing and has contributed greatly to the passion I feel for my truck!!!

I’m new to vehicle mods/builds and enjoy doing as much work myself as I can. Have done mostly minor aesthetic mods so far. But saving up for a suspension lift kit and hope to do that upgrade by the end of the year. Also waiting until I wear out the stock tires before changing up my wheel and tire setup.

Super excited to keep learning! I’m sure Tacoma3g will prove to be a valuable resource!

My build so far:
•Tacoma pro grill with raptor lights spliced into drl and headlight connections.
•Front bumper cut
•Yellow LED fog light bulbs and yellow tint
•Visionpro M2 LED headlight bulbs
•1.5” wheel spacers by Rough Country
•Matte black trd off road bedside decals
•Working on deleting chrome...plastidipped emblems and exhaust tip, vinyl decal overlays on wheels
•Painted tow hook and dring
•White interior accents by Tufskinz and Tacomabeast
•custom start stop button decal by Flatsix Graphics

Nice truck. Yeah, 2wd does strike me as a little off the beaten track. Eager to see how you use your vehicle.

Not super into rock crawling or mudding. Just wanted to be able to get to some awesome spots! I’ve been super impressed with what the locking rear diff can do for me. Have had no problems at all on moderately rated trails. I’ve got some vids posted on my ig page if you’re interested, @atomiktaco. Also check out @inf3rnotaco on ig! He is a boss in his 2wd off road.
