• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

July RotM is sponsored by @Accessorides

RotM usually opens on the 10th of the month, but due to a medical situation I had, I'm a little late. Because the contest is opening two days late, all other dates for July will also be pushed back two days (voting phase 1, phase 2, and winner announcement). August will still open on the 10th.

This month is sponsored by @Accessorides, who were kind enough to offer one of their remote start kits for your Tacoma: https://accessorides.com/collections/plug-and-play-remote-start-kits-for-toyota/tacoma. If you would like to add a long range or cellular upgrade to this kit, that can be worked out after you've won.

July will have no theme; all photos can be submitted, modified trucks or stock. We will also use the tiered voting system again, which is explained below in this thread.

Tell your friends. ;)

Without further ado, let's get right into it!

--------------------------

How does it work?
  • From the 12th to the 15th of this month, you can post one of your best photos of your truck to this thread, which will become your submission.
  • You can "like" the photos in this thread if you want to, but they will not count as votes; this is only the submission thread.
  • On the 15th of this month, I will move all submissions to the initial voting thread, and voting will commence.
  • On the 19th of this month, I will create a new voting thread which will have only the top 4 trucks from the initial thread, and final voting will commence.
  • On the 22th of this month, the voting thread will close and go into a review phase.
  • During the review phase, I will go through each submission, noting how many votes they received, and I will verify that the user with the most amount of votes is eligible to win according to the rules in this thread.
  • In the event the user who submitted the photo with the most votes is not eligible, I will move to the runner up, and so on.
  • In the event that there are multiple submissions with the same amount of votes at the end of the voting period, I will create a new thread with only those submissions in it, and voting will begin again for three days. If a tie-breaker is needed a second time, a random winner will be chosen via a random number generator.
What does the winner receive?
Submission Rules
  1. YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 10 POSTS ON YOUR ACCOUNT TO SUBMIT A PHOTO. (If you're unable to reply to this thread, it's because you don't have the ten posts yet.) However, if you are a "T3G Supporter" (purchased a patch or sticker previously), you may bypass the minimum post count restriction.
  2. The forum administrator (me), and our official vendors, are not eligible to enter this contest.
  3. If you have won this contest previously, you are not eligible to enter again until the sixth month after the last time you won. (e.g. If you won in January, you may not enter again until July.) Since it is now July, @laketaco22 is eligible to enter again!
  4. Please submit photos that are of high quality and not edited in Photoshop to add a fake background, text, or other graphics to the image. However, you may edit your photo to adjust lighting, color, shadows, etc.
  5. You may only submit one photo per month and you will not be able to change the photo you submitted it after it is posted. You may post a different photo in a different month.
  6. Adding a link to your build thread, if you have one, is highly encouraged, but not required.

--------------------------

Once you have read everything above, PLEASE "LIKE" THIS POST SO I KNOW YOU READ IT, and you may submit your photo. Good luck and have fun!

Cameron and Matt have my favorites so far.

I made a flowchart for my voting process...apparently I have too much time on my hands today. I had a thing in there for "Is it filthy?" but it was too context dependant :)

I think I may be looking at this too much as a photo contest instead of a rig contest. Good luck everyone!

What if my driveway is located somewhere interesting? Like Epstein’s creepy sex island or on the deck of an aircraft carrier...

I dig that flowchart. My voting is caveman brained. "ugga bugga, nice trok" *clicks like*

Gotta get those 10 post. LOL

This flow chart is good stuff. I should use it in the official RotM posts.

You actually don't; you bought a sticker or patch, which means you get to skip the 10 post rule. Those without the 10 posts are literally unable to post in this thread, but it let you with only 6 posts, because that rule doesn't apply to you. :)
