• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. ICON RXT Squeak Pack...whhhhyyyyy????

I have tried everything to silence this ICON RXT leaf pack, which is in the mid configuration. Before I delete the whole setup and go custom-- has anyone figured out a solution? ICON advice was only to make sure it was torqued with wheels on ground, which was done. Grease only lasts a little while. No idea what else I can do.

Some guys have replaced/added pads between the ends of the leaves and that has helped some, but it seems to be the nature of leaf packs after a while.

That said, I much prefer my Deaver pack to the RXT I ran for a few months. I have no weight and found the RXT to be way too stiff.

This stuff also comes in a spray, it will get into spots that thick stuff cannot, BUT it works like the thick stuff.
I have had grease and silicone work then just dry out or get displaced.
Spay it between the plates and on the bushings (rubber / plastic safe) and then brush it or wipe the excess off.

It worked on many things and last where other greases will not,................ might be just what you need.
