So I purchased something absolutely unnecessary and some would probably classify it as ridiculous. Lol. But I purchased a Hornblasters Train Horn šŸ˜‚. It’s the Stealth Spare Tire Delete Kit (Link provided below). Of course, this has no performance application or cosmetic benefit, I just thought it would be an obnoxious and kind of fun upgrade lol. I haven’t installed it yet since I’m out of town working, but once I do, I’ll be sure to post a video. I went with this kid because I didn’t want to take away any bed space or have to mount it in the backseat or anything like that, and I plan to go with a spare tire mount either in the bed or a swinging tire mount on the tailgate I haven’t decided yet. Just thought I would let you guys know of the new ridiculous purchase lol, let’s hear your thoughts haha!

You'll have to take a picture of it if it's not assembled. I'm curious.

Interesting. But what does it say that your first reason for installing it is to be "obnoxious"? There are places that being obnoxious can get you shot or at least stomped.

Not obnoxious in the sense of going through towns and annoying people intentionally. Obnoxious in the sense of if you deserve to be honked at, you are getting honked at and then some. The kit is kind of dual purpose, well, I guess extra crazy, loud honking isn’t necessary, but it also doubles as a tire inflator so that’s kind of cool.

It’s comes unassembled so I’ll definitely take a pic for you.
That would be great. Just laid out if you don't mind. I had a Hadley before. Decent quality kit I think. Looked up the price now and damn it spiked in the last 17 years. So was gonna see about just grabbing stuff I already have and piecing something together. Kleinn was another brand I checked into. I'm just not Huck-rich.

Here is the link to the kit itself, but it’s all assembled in the pictures there. So, like I said, once I get it all laid out I’ll send you some.

I wonder who makes their parts. If they are rebranded Chinese stuffs or if they source it out.
The horns and tank show made in the US. But the parts don't disclose where.

I’m not too sure, I looked on the site but it didn’t specify. Might have to call and find that out.

What am I looking at here other than the obvious lol?
Just the obvious. Just seeing your post re-ignited my want for an air horn. Then I remembered I had a Hadley pressure switch. Found that and it was enough to see if I'd do it. You know like building AR's, find a pivot detent have to start a new build. Had the Hadley kit which I thought was pretty loud and seemed like a quality kit in a Scion tC. Was limited to it due to space, car was lowered and stuff. So I wanted to see about putting together a setup and pick out quality parts. Try to throw together something nice, performs and for less. I don't have HuckMONEY anymore. Since Hornblasters seems to have pretty good rep and I figured it would be good baseline. That's why I asked if you'd take pics. Backwards source together the air horn setup. Then I got sucked into looking stuff up. Went through each included part of that setup to see where it was made and if it was rebranded. Specs and see where they were sourced from. I have most of it figured out now. Just have to figure out the horns and see if I want to keep dumping money into it.

Ah I gotcha. Yeah I’m definitely sure that you could do exactly as you said and piece together something for a fraction of the cost of their kits.
