Hi 3rd Gen community!

Ive been researching and unfortunately not been able to find someone running a hidden hitch with the factory bumper. Anyone out there running a hidden hitch with their stock rear bumper? Is this even possible?

I hate dragging my hitch every time I wheel, but I don’t want to go with an aftermarket bumper just yet, still waiting on more bumpers to have BSM integration(Apogee Offroad is the only co. i found so far with BSM)

Well I have removed basically the entire backend of my truck and you could have a custom hitch made, but would be half of the cost of an aftermarket one.

I would suggest a “hitch skid” that will protect your hitch from damage. You can find them at Warfab. They will double as a recovery point and step. They are less than $100.

Sweet! I’ll check it out!!! It seems like the only option to go if i don’t do a custom hitch
