Help needed installing rear King shocks

Hey any tips to mount the rear shocks I can try to decompress and try to slide it in but it’s extremely hard

I just put the edge of my floor jack on the shock and jack it up until I can tap it into place. If the truck is on jack stands it will make it a little easier, but that's how it goes when you install longer shocks.
