Gas Pedal Is Not Smooth

Hey guys and gals. I bought a 2021 Tacoma back in 1/1/2024. A couple of days ago I realized the gas pedal seems a bit sticky if you will, even with the truck off, almost like it needs oiled up. Everything is electronic on the throttle controls. What’s confusing me is that it’s not smooth even when it’s off. Should I look at buying a new pedal or could it be something else?

Just lubricant the mechanical portion of the pedal. Don’t over do it.
