Cosmetic Fit and finish of bumpers and sliders

I'm curious as to what is typically expected with aftermarket items as far as fit goes.
What tolerance is acceptable for things like bumpers and sliders?
Do you expect a bumper to be symmetrical? Down to what dimension? +- an 1/8? A 1/4?
Do you expect rock sliders to have an even reveal relative to the rocker panels? What do you expect,?
By the way, I've got a free bed rack that's a little asymmetrical.

I expect to get what I pay for, and perfect for anything over $1000. Considering you’re replacing something that fit perfect to begin with.

I would agree that the guy and finish should be pretty spot on. Paying that much for a lopsided bumper would be extremely disappointing.

Most bumpers if not all are hand built, I think it can be quite easy to miss the mark by 1/8th or 1/4 of an inch. I dont think a bumper can ever be 100% perfect. Or a chassis for that matter, The passenger side of my bumper sticks out about 1/2 inch more than the driver side (measurment is consistent with 2 different bumpers) So I have reason to beileve toyota puts very little attention into chasis QC or just has very large tolerances and they dont care lol
