• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

So I bought a new 2020 TRD sport access cab and absolutely love this thing. Unfortunately I ate a doe last night with just 3500 miles on the odometer 😡🤬 life goes on and it's not horrible, it just annoys the crap out of me. I bought a lift kit and some new wheels and tires that were supposed to go on next weekend but that'll be postponed lol.

That sucks! Hopefully it's not too bad. First mod I did was an ARB front bumper. Deer are terrible and I learned that same lesson 3 months owning my last new truck before the taco.

hopefully it will pay for some new , better parts
I doubt it, it's all parts, no real repairs where I can save $. Maybe the deductible but that's about it. I'll be happy with it back in one piece with non aftermarket headlight since I have sequential LED

Hopefully some of the meat was salvageable? Venison steak and beer while cursing Mother Nature.

Now is the time to do the hidden winch as it will all come off to do it and the crash bar gets tossed.

Mine during installation. More pics in the Member Intro/Build section, Midnight Black SR.

I'm tempted to do it. Even if I dont buy the winch right away, the harder parts done. It's my good friends shop so he will work with me too.

If you’re interested in a SOS Concepts bumper i can get you 10% off. Just something else to think about. Usually aftermarket stuff is cheaper that OEM and insurance is willing to pay to save $

I'll see what the estimate looks like and what they're willing to pay for. I think my crash bar and pad are good so it's mostly a headlight and plastics, fender will get a repair for sure since it's just rolled out. I already told them I refuse to put an aftermarket headlight in it, they're always an issue and colors never match with the LED.

Thanks for that coupon. I'll save it

Thank God for insurance huh?

Oof! At least your alright.

Definitely do the stuff you want to do while it’s apart before you put it back together, example- hidden winch, bumper, etc. The more you take it apart the less it fits right lol One and done

Like the wheel/ tires you got for it though, looking forward to seeing this be put back together
