I noticed an engine leak on the front passenger side of the engine. There is not much info here so I'm posting a photo.

Looks like it's been a while. It's hard to see down there...

Does anyone have any experience with something like this?

That has been leaking for a long time.
You need to clean everything down so you can see the gaskets.

Once cleaned take a drive and look for the wet oil spot(s).
It may take a few drives to get the leak going but it will.

Yes timing cover gasket is not an easy fix..... but its a common leak on certain early model years. (growing pains)
Could be an easy fix if something else,..... both required cleaning and discovery.

I have a 2017 Tacoma with the same problem and has a helie coil in one of the plugs and also has some type of vacuum leak I'm so disgusted with my Toyota dependable not in my book. Throwing misfire codes and everything else
