Camping near Bozeman and Boise

[Tacocamper]

Headed out on a couple thousand mile road trip and was needing to find camp/remote areas to stay in while traveling. We will be going through Bozeman area then heading south towards Idaho Falls and up through Boise. If anybody has any suggestions let me know.

Check out the Hyalite Reservoir near Bozeman. Lots of good spots around there.

That looks like an awesome area just checking it out real quick. Curious if there will be a lot of snow in the area in a couple weeks, might make traveling solo a bit difficult.

lots of decent camping within an hour from boise, Swan falls is an easy to get to spot on the snake river, you can also go up towards idaho city and find decent camping on grimes creek although i havent camped up there in a long time. you could also hit up anderson ranch res, a little more out of the way but it depends on what you are looking for. attached is a picture from a week ago at swan falls below the damn a little ways. attached is recent trip to swan falls below the damn a little ways.
