Hey all!

Been a lurker for a year around T4R, tacomaworld and Tacoma3g! Wife and I finally decided to pull the trigger on a 2019 Tacoma DCSB OR 4x4. Got it July 29 with 45km! Not really mechanically inclined or camper but wife and I decided that we wanted to do this! So we are super stoked! This truck will be a daily driver and weekend warrior rig. I've been in a rabbit hole and researching day in and day out, wife even said I've been researching more about the truck than spending time LOL. Sorry wife. Anyways, we plan on some off roading and overlanding/camping and really just getting out and exploring. Looking to lift, with slightly bigger tires, and all the goods but still really remain all functional. I'm trying to consider the roads here and the weather since half the year is extreme winter. Snow and real cold weather. (-50 Celsius, it's cold). With suspension and lifts, what worries me is the salts and sand the will corrode and destroy these parts but also looking for a nice soft highway ride and takes pothole like champs and do well off road. So I have been looking at either high end BP51 with Dakar heavy lifts or something that's a bit cheaper such as the Bilsteins 6112/5110 with as well as the dakar leafs. Like I said I don't really know much about 4x4/off roading/trucks in general and really just exploring. Figure I should just ask and get information even when I have done extensive research! Gonna be a slow build. REAL SLOW but knowledge is power and doing it now hahaha

AND on top of that, I love the community the Tacoma has and am really excited to make the rig our own! Thanks for reading and future responses!

And here's a pic cause the blue makes me drool and makes me look back every time I walk away. :)
