So I’ll start off by saying my day job is working for Uncle Sam. I’m active duty navy so I do what I can to my truck when I can. I sold my 1972 Chevy C10 and bought my 2018 Tacoma TRD Off road 4x4 DCSB to be able to do more stuff outdoors with my family. My goal has been to make the truck as multi functional as possible. To be able to use it for whatever I might need to. Yes it won’t be able to tow a house but at this point I haven’t acquired a trailer full of toys that require a big truck so I think I’m good. I started by choosing to install a @DobinsonsUSA 3” MRR HD lift and new UCAs. It has been amazing so far and does what I need it to. From there I added SCS F5 17x8.5s and BFG K02s (285/75/17s), proceeded to cut the cab mount to fit them. Snagged an unfinished bumper from a local fan shop and welded up pieces after some slight modifications to fit a 3rd gen vs 2nd gen, put some @Baja Designs Squadron sports on the front bumper with some custom made stainless steel tabs. And then I began the task of trying to design my own roof rack. It took a lot of time measuring and then sitting at the computer but I got it finished a few months back. I’ve done some minor cosmetic changes by painting some interior pieces to match the silver sky metallic and I just redid my headlights to make them look more like a TRD Pro. Next on the list will be some sliders, new front and rear bumpers, Full skid plates, bed rack, onboard air, winch, dual batteries, and who knows what else. Anyway enough words here are some pictures. Sorry for them being out of order.

Awesome build! How are the MRRs treating you?

Great! Im super happy with them. Ride quality is great considering the increased weight capacity. Lots of flex too.

I would love to upgrade to the adjustable MRRs when I can swing the extra cost. Id love to get a bigger Dobinsons sticker for the truck at some point. I keep recommending your product to all the people I talk to, My brother is the one who told me about it and got a Dobinsons kit for his Lexus GX470

Got the truck all washed up and finally got around to putting in my pro grill from Toyota pro shop and Meso custom vent rings and chrome delete kit. Added some flair to myinfotainment surround. I think it all came out pretty good. Took a lot of taping but I’mhappy with it. Sorry this is picture heavy.
