Decided to give a build thread a chance, since I have never done one before. My build is going to move at a pretty slow pace, but in the end I think it’ll come together nicely!

So first things first, obligatory new truck picture:

I have had the truck for maybe a year now and there really isn’t much done to it.

First mod was an SDHQ dual light bar mount behind the grille and my 4 year old son who helped with the install:

The top bar is a 30” curved olb brand light bar, I wouldn’t recommend them but it fills the spot for now. Bottom is a 30” rigid radiance. The rigid really impressed me for its price so I hope to get another to fill the top.

Next up was an HID kit for the low beams. Here is a before picture of the output:

The above picture is a little deceiving, I went with the 5500 bulbs and they really don’t look that blue in person. They look really close to the stock running lights in my opinion.

Next up I debadged the side emblems and the rear ones on the tailgate:

I’ll continue posting later, thanks for checking out my build!

That's a sweet grille. I've got the RAD Industries grill. Has plenty of room for a behind the grill LED bar.

I’ve never heard of that one before, if you have pictures post them up! I’d like to check it out. I’ve always liked the pro grille but it seems like everyone has one now, so I’m hoping I find something a little different.

Ok, let’s continue on with the build. Next thing I did was get ride of the chrome turn signals in the mirror. I switched them out for a custom set made by mesojdm.

The most recent thing I did was purchase a couple of the brushed gold scs ray 10’s

I’m waiting to throw them on until I can afford my lift, that way I can fit the tire size I want. But for now they look great in the boxes :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I dig it! You're going to have a very Sun Devil-ish theme going on there with the maroon and gold.

How hard is it to remove those side markers? I've got some extra smoke tint vinyl laying around, I think I'll try wrapping mine to see how they look.

I didn’t even think about the sun devil theme, although I have heard that it’ll look like iron man. I was just aiming for something different than what everyone else has.

It was super easy, you could have them removed in minutes. I put a plastic bag over the mirror and then popped the cover off so that it couldn’t go flying. Then you just unscrew and unplug it. There’s a video floating around somewhere of it, I’ll send t it your way once I find it.

Thanks I appreciate it. So the painted part just pops off?

Here is the link for you:

Super easy honestly, I’d be down to help you get them pulled apart if you want. If you can get yourself to pull it off and not worry about breaking it, then you’re good.

Awesome, thanks! I'm going to give it a shot tonight.

I’ll be watching your build to see how they come out then! Could always swoop up the b stock that mesojdm does of his turn signals if you don’t like the way yours come out. That’s what I did and they look perfect to me.

I kind of like that option to be honest. It reminds me a little of the pro grille, but is still different. Now you have my wheels turning

I like it a lot. I have a thing for hexagons, and this one came up for sale (used) at the right price from Maxx.Powell
