Entune/CarPlay Apple CarPlay suddenly looks different?

Anyone’s Apple CarPlay screen just randomly change the way it looks? Was there some kind of update I missed? Everything just looks compressed and just “off” and the layout is completely different it has never looked like this before… I don’t like change lol

Don't think you'll be able to go back versions. If you check in history of the head unit, it should state when the update was.
 
iOS 14 supports portrait-oriented CarPlay screens, with a horizontal dock. To me it looks like the phone is trying to display portrait mode on a landscape screen for some reason.
 
From one day to another it fixed itself without me really doing anything 🤷‍♂️ a couple months ago the center screen between the MPH and RPM gave out for a day. The screen was filled with what looked like dead pixels to me but then it fixed itself. Hoping this isnt foreshadowing for electrical issues to come.

My Apple Maps went to dark mode last week for a day and then corrected itself, plus the phone connection has been horrible in the last week when connected through CarPlay
