Anyone here know what this is? I work at a parts store and have most of my working life. The “710 cap” is a funny thing they usually tell the new guys at some point.
It goes something like this:
Customer comes in wanting a 710 cap. Counter guy can’t figure it out. Customer opens hood and points into engine compartment. “Right there where I pour my oil in.”
If you still don’t get it, OIL upside down is 710.
So one of my co-workers and myself are going to make 710 caps
. At first it sounded like a genious idea but the more we ask people if they knew what it was we just get a dumb look like we are stupid. (Not saying we aren’t stupid)
