Guys, i whipped up a fix for the empty spot in our steering column area to the left. I would always throw change in there or want to store business cards. I took some measurements and whipped up a few different drawers to fit into the small cubby while keeping it functional. I just got tired of change being thrown around in my cup holders and not able to keep the interior clean of property keys, extra house keys, change and more. These are 3D printed drawers. I have three different styles to choose from. Original handle, coin slot in the handle and open front which also acts as a handle but sits flush in the dash. I will upload some photos! Also attach my Etsy page, I'm working on volume knobs to replacing those slick stock knobs. Those pics are also included. https://www.etsy.com/listing/757102730/tacoma-3rd-gen-change-drawers

Hey @Trudog do you get any glare / reflection while driving at night of the switch pro mounted in this location. I was about to order this from SDHQ but then I saw some complaints about it reflecting off the driver side window at night. Thoughts?

I like it however I prefer my SwitchPro mounted in the same spot!

No complaints here, you can dim the colors to any desire to control glare. Personally I made it the same as the dash highlights, if that makes sense.

Ah ok cool. I didn't realize you can dim them. I usually run my dash / backlights at the dimmest setting possible because my astigmatism is not good for night sight / glare. Thanks for the tip, will order the SDHQ plate now. Thanks!

If I didn’t have the sunroof I would have mounted on the roof more then likely with this......so when in service people don’t mess with it

That's a great location. Nice and out of the way and no one knows it's there but you.
