Switchpros, lights, etc.
Im always looking for more so now after a front end collision im going tbe long travel route.

Dunnfab out of NJ is building the truck.

Dk Double shear kit
Dk Spindle gussets

Mmmmmm. I want some.

Nice truck OP!
Now I have to learn the difference between mid and long travel. Lol
(Still new to this....)
This is heavily over-simplifying but in a nutshell standard travel = stock UCA/LCA with stock length shocks or coilovers, mid travel = aftermarket UCAs with ET coilovers, and long travel = aftermarket UCAs and LCAs with LT coilovers and wider track width. If any of that boggles your mind you can read up in the suspension subforum and also check out the acronym thread.

Not done yet. Slow process. Maybe done by around June 1st but we’ll see. Things keep getting added to the list. Like this bumper. Good things take time. Problems with Mcneil 3in bedsides, spring under, and 35s with or without a 1.5 wheel spacer. Bedsides need to be trimmed and will def lose the clean look. Front inner fenders have to be chopped and pushed up about an inch an a half. That’s happening now. Rear is 90% done. Few little things to burn in place. Then paint. Bumper to powder coat. Finish up some wiring. Thing that’s about it. Here’s a few more pics.

I built it for eventually doing a trip to baja with dirtbikes in the bed. But main purpose is for the pine Barrens. Load bikes up, spend some time prerunning in truck then riding singletrack on the bike. I’ll be down there once its ready. Will definitely be getting some shock tuning in around Lakewood down to Wharton state forest.

It’s actually a bumper from lsk. It’s a one off bumper that came from hbmonsters truck(off Instagram). He crashed it after he built it. Now he’s tubing the front end and his new bumper will tie into it. I lucked out and saw it for sale and jumped on it. Originally when I brought the truck in for the work I gave them pictures of this truck to somewhat copy the bumper about a year ago. Again, good things take time and I’m very lucky that I caught this bumper. Here’s a pic I got this morning. The skid plates are not on it right now as they are fitting everything up.

Gotcha!

I was half asleep but when I seen it I thought it was the Marlin bumper and I was gonna ask you how you got one so early ?

It looks good nonetheless

Some updates.
Bedcage dirt bike wheel holders just to keep the tires straight.
Full tuck pic.
Rear end finished ready for paint.
Bunch of pics of the inner fenders.

Full tuck has plenty of fender clearance issues as expected. This is with 315s, which are a little short of 35 and a 3.5in Lt Kit. I’m sure if ur a rock crawler/mall crawler you don’t need as much clearance but there’s no way you can get 14 inches of travel with a 35 before you tap out on the inner fender. Trying to tuck a 35 and have it be able to turn the slightest bit requires some serious work as u can see.
If your gonna do it, might as well do it the right way.

Few more updates.
Rear end is fully painted. Ready for bed to be put on then bedsides to be massaged to clear the 35s.
Bumper and bedcage back from powder coat ready to be installed.
Front inner fenders chopped out, sheet metaled back and up a few inches, complete and painted. I laugh now at all the people who bolt on a 3.5 long travel kit with 35s. I know damn right they aren’t clearing them. I guess when it’s all for the gram you don’t care about getting what you paid for. I will use the truck and send it. I guess if ur an overlander ur never going to use the suspension for what it’s worth. Just like they prob won’t use half the shit bolted onto their truck. Haha. I guess they will find out the hard way when they actually use their truck and destroy the inner fenders. ??‍♂️
