    ACC in the rain

    I don’t use cruise in the rain at all. I worry about losing traction at some point and the truck giving more gas to get caught up and running into issues. When I was a firefighter I had a state trooper tell me he’d seen a lot of accidents that way.

    Next on the list is the power tailgate mod and maybe one day, if it’s ever back in stock, the Meso Customs total tail stage 1. Unless anyone knows of an equivalent alternative without changing the actual tail light assembly.

    Just finished installing my console safe. Eats into my storage some, but willing to sacrifice that for a safer place for my “buddy” while I’m at work than the plastic glovebox.

    Not much. It’s a daily driver. No off roading in my future. Have a tonneau and console safe on order. Going to be putting in a power tailgate lock and A/C drain mod. I put on vent visors and a Meso Customs start button. That’s about all. Pretty boring.

    Why did you decide to buy a Tacoma?

    I’m on my 2nd Tundra, a 2019. I always thought that when I was ready to scale down, the ONLY smaller size truck I would even consider was a Tacoma. And this was even when I had F150’s before my Tundras.

    Hello I ordered a 2021 Tacoma yesterday. The dealer said it would be here on Sept 26. are these dates usually good?

    I put in an order on July 18, the allocation was approved on July 22. Yesterday the dealership said "We have requested your Tacoma but Toyota hasn't fulfilled the order yet. It looks like it's going to be a 2022 model at this point."

    Fire Extinguisher

    I used a lot of fire extinguishers when I was a fire fighter. The smaller vehicle sized one do not last very long. That’s what intrigues me about the Element ones, is that they last almost an entire minute and appear as easy to use as a road flare.
