• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

    Red Rock Canyon Map

Years ago I had a Map for Red Rock Cyn / Last Chance Cyn, it was more of a Jeep rides flyer than a map. It had some dudes face on it, anyway, anyone have a copy, or even know what I'm talking about for that matter ;) Planning on a Trip in May for old times sake (1000 miles just to get there)...

Do you think a question/answer system should be implemented?

I think it would be helpful. It would save scrolling through 2 pages of chit chat, stories, banter, Etc.. before finding a righteous answer to said question

Messed with the bed a little This is a simple trailer, no water, no stove, pretty much just a place to get out of the weather and a Bear proof bed. I use coolers, water jugs, Camp Chef stove, baby wipes to clean up & a shovel to, ......well you know, unless I'm at a civilized campground.

My buddy who lives out in the country and has a lot of classic cars (rarely driven) uses dryer sheets. They seem to work for him.

    Compressor converter

I'm assuming your trailer does not have a battery? Compressors have a pretty good amp draw, and any length of wire is going to have to be a good size gauge. Don't think the inverter / converter will handle the amperage. what about running some dedicated wire (fused) directly from your battery...

Thanks for the welcome, The BJ was sold after paying $600 for shipping alone for a new head, exotic vehicles are cool in all, till you have to buy parts for something that was never imported to the US. Miss the 04 already, nice and skinny for the desert trails I used to wheel. Never left me...
