    I am planning a trip through these two passes, come July. It will be my first time and I'm going with a few people that don't have Tacomas. Have any of you been through these areas? What can I expect with a fully loaded Tacoma? Should I be skerd?? hehe

    You're making me feel better about my decision to go with 5.29's. I added the bed rails, will be going with a RTT, as well as a new high clearance rear bumper with swing arms.

    Gorgeous! I bought mine for several reasons. Practicality, fun, looks, potential resale value if I decide to ever part with it. I used to have a Jeep Wrangler, and I miss it all the time, for the fun factor. It's an awesome vehicle for these parts. But the Tacoma fit me better as a daily driver...

    Honestly I haven't noticed too much issue with it, but then there aren't many hills around here. I'll be putting it through its paces f more though. I'll try to pay close attention and let you know

    I am not staying stock, but I went with 5.29 as well as a front locker. Couldn't be happier. I was warned about the RPMS getting too high since I don't have 33s for tires. But so far it hasn't been bad at all!
