• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Figured I’d give a little update as my Taco is slowly getting there. Just installed my Cali Raised 0 degree step sliders, powder coated, with no filler plates or kickouts. Really loving it so far.

    Spencer's 2020 Cement DCSB Off-Road "Build" (Slow)

I went kind of a similar route. I did 5100s all around and brought up the front .65 inches to level it just a little. Then did 265/75/16 BFG KO2s. For my needs right now it's perfect. I just subd to your youtube channel so I can follow on there too.

I'm not sure if its steel but I'm a huge fan of the ARB summit bumper for these trucks.

 Dang man! I'm glad you were alright, that's intense. Now the brush guard makes much more sense based on your location. Glad you got your taco survived too.

@KnighT4CO I like it a lot. It’s perfect for what I need it for. It’s nice to be able to completely remove or roll up the side panels. Keeps us and our gear out of the sun/ rain, perfect spot for the dogs after coming back from the lake as well. I did also get the OEM Tacoma bed mat which really...

@midnight20pro thank you! I was back and forth between the softopper and the new bestop v2. After seeing a YouTube video by @Jesse Rizo i decided to go with the bestop. He has a promo code with them as well that got me like 80 bucks off as well.

@lost.jake looking right now at the Cali Raised 0-degree "step" sliders with no kick out and no filler plates. (personally like that look the best) The reason for the 0 over 25 degree is because I use the roof rack fairly often and would like to have easier access getting up on top of the cab...

@Jay I am totally open to ideas and options. I have known that King and Fox make great products. Right now I'm just in the "Idea" phase and have 5100s as kind of place holders. It probably won't happen till closer till the end of the year when I pull the trigger. looking to stay around 2 inches...
