• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

    after market seats

I'm in similar situations like you (recently had a triple laminectomy L2-L4), and believe it or not Desert Does It seat jackers have been a virtual life saver for me. I've been rocking mine for over two years now without any issues. But then again those only change the OEM seat's angle. As...

Diode dynamics ss3 fog light kit HOW TO INSTALL

Nice. Unfortunately, I just installed some BD Squadrons (non SAE) last month. If I knew about these I would of got them instead.

Spare tire rotated in -- sensors

I've had the same issues as the OP. I just now got the TPMS indicator to turn off, but now I have no TP readings. I programed my TPMS and sideloaded via my AUTEL. Everything was fine for a couple of hundred miles, until rotation.

Mr. and Mrs. Nobody's Quicksand DCLB

Mind me asking what kind of blind spot mirrors? I've been in the market for some other than the RAV4's, Spotter's, or the cheesy stick-on's. Either way, looking forward to your review.

Help me choose some damn tires

I've heard the same from locals in my area about the KO2's, which is why I steered clear of those tires. My guess is that the rubber compound takes too long to heat up maybe? As for the ATX's, the tread design's ability to push out debris laterally along with its "gripping feet" in all temps and...

Help me choose some damn tires

Well, I just solved my own dilemma and placed an order for some matte black Method MR702 (17x8.5/0) wearing General Grabber ATX's (LT265/70R17 E-rated). Customoffset.com offered too good of a deal for me to pass up. Looking forward to receiving these by month's end!

Help me choose some damn tires

One of the neighbors has been sporting Wildpeaks on his Tundra TRD Pro since October 2018 and loves them. But like with everyone I've encountered with these Falkens, they tend to wear rather quickly even with regular 5K tire rotations. As for the Grabber ATX's, I'm really liking the tread...

Help me choose some damn tires

I'm virtually in the same situation as the OP but with the added bonus of ice/snow. I'm torn between the Falken AT3W's and the General Grabber ATX. Both have what I'm looking for in a tire. But then again I can't really decide if I should go with 16's or stay with my stock 17's either.

Mod to keep your car cool in summer?

I'm sure it would vary with the installer, especially whether or not if the state you're in deems it legal. But with that being said, my friend only charged me $250 and a 6 pack of Bud Lite for everything (which is not bad considering it would normally run $400 on average from what I...

Mod to keep your car cool in summer?

It's amazing how much a difference tinting your ride can make. My bud Noah, at Midwest Tint and Auto, hooked me up with Scorpion Ceramic tint (keeps the heat out during summer and in during the winter). Stuff is awesome.

Hello to all the 3rd gen Tacos!

My son and his buds have already pointed out a couple of great locations off the beaten path that I've been wanting to check out. So yes, I may soon become an enthusiast before too long. But like most fun things, it's going to require a lot of "$", which I'm currently on a budget for.

Hello to all the 3rd gen Tacos!

Thank you for the "o.k." to join the forum. I just recently acquired a black 2017 TRD Sport CC 4X4 the day following Memorial Day. I've been on the fence for a while as far getting another one (my first one was 98' 2.7 PreRunner that I had for 2 weeks, and was stolen out of NAS Mayport, FL...
