    That belt was kind of a bitch to put on. I just did all my pulleys and tensioner and belt to take care of that pesky whining noise next is the alternator if it comes back.

    So I wanted to reach out to you about this high pitch noise issue. Take off the serpentine belt and run the engine around 2000 rpm see if the noise is there or not.. I just had to replace all of the pulleys and the belt tensioner and belt to get rid of my whining. Just a friendly suggestion.

    That sucks sorry to hear it.. also if you go under your truck from the passenger side and with a flashlight look up at the back right of the manifold .. if yours is leaking just follow the pink drips filled by a pinkish white powder from it drying. Goodluck

    I also understand you said there is only 23,000 miles on them. Are the pistons leaking at all? Can you send more pics the rears look as if they might be weeping could just be dirty just wanted a closer look.

    Just did a few updates.. New front grill with Raptor lights, New 265/75/16 BFG k02s, Avs Rain guards and to top it off Rino rock rails/side steps.

    Thank's.. and yes I did paint the hook red I thought it needed to pop a little more so I could see it.

    I'm like a little girl when I drive my baby lol... my wife on the other hand thinks shes a badass ... she dosen't consider mpg at all. Drive it like she stole it.

    The roads I drive are generally flat rpms are usually around 1000 to 1200 when driving which is about 35 to 40mph I try to reset computer once a week those are my best #s remember optimal conditions lol....

    Sounds like the high pressure fuel pump/valve.. its silver and on the passenger side under the hood to the rear of engine.. also look up on YouTube there is also a tech info on noise TSB

    Just yesterday went with Bfg ko2 265/75/16 and love them. So great look and there is no difference in noise that I can tell.

    Yup... and to top it all off when I got home from work I had to deal with all the parts of the Brid you don't want to see all over the transmission cooler and Radiator.. let's just say them smell was horrific... the only saving grace is he didn't suffer looks like he died on impact.

    Just want to keep everyone informed.. Toyota knows of this issue... there is no TSB yet but I'm sure it will happen at some point just keep an eye on your coolant level and if you see it dropping look for leaks before it's to late. It's about a 14hr job I was told according to Toyota. The joint...

    2017 taco Antifreeze Leak at 32,000 miles

    Took my 2017 in for warranty work. Guess there is an issue with the Rear Water Bypass Joint leaking Antifreeze. It's under the intake manifold rear passenger side of engine and a pain to get at. Anyone else have this issue? I've been told its popping up a lot.
