    I just got the KDmax upgrade. Works great for me. Looked in to trying the OTT, but it was quite a process to get them to send the files to me,I never ended up buying it. KDmax was quick and easy and very responsive and helpful.

    When you get a tune it's for a lot more than increasing the alternator output. It was literally an afterthought when they discovered the settings for it. It is very handy though.

    Backing out of head-in parking spots on city streets with a long bed double cab truck on a daily basis, I would never give up BSM. No amount of head-turning matters if there is no line of sight. Sad to hear it won't be possible.

    Yes, you push a button that you install with it. It's mostly for low range in 2wd so you can turn on pavement without binding up. It also allows the locker to be engaged.

    I have a GFC and it’s an absolute luxury item. There is nothing I can do that I couldn’t do before I had it. You sure don’t want to miss out on adventure because you have to work to pay off your vehicle and set up.

    Interesting. I wasn't aware of anyone else but OV/VF tune that had cracked the 3G ECU and had tuning software. If I order your tune, do I need to buy your software, does it come with it or do I use my existing VF tune set up?

    Remember, all the other tunes are done on OV/VF tune and are just further refinements of what Matt has done.

    What do you do to charge it? AGM batteries prefer to be charged between 14.4 and 14.8v, 3G alternator charges to 13.9. You won't get full performance and it won't last as long at that voltage.

    I have Wildpeak A/T after virtually a lifetime of BFG. The Wildpeaks are leaps and bounds ahead of the BFG on wet roads. They also cost less, but that's a secondary concern of mine.

    High Output Alternator

    Yes, it changes how the truck chooses gears and they have tunes for various gear ratios and tire size. Also changes the power band. Makes the truck much more driveable.
