Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!
Tacoma3G is a beginner-friendly 3rd Generation Toyota Tacoma forum (2016-2023 model-year specific). We are a small community of people who are focused on good information and good vibes. More about us....
The wheels will fit no problem. What Hltaco was saying is he's running HUGE tyres without any rub. Generally with Toyota anything over 31" diameter you should think about rub.
It all depends what tyres you want to run.
What is the offset on those rims?
At the opposite end of the table.... is it possible to run 15" rims -with a spacer to clear the brake calipers? Just looking for options.
I didn't see the insta story but got the topic notification for here just now.
I think insta only shows you stories of profiles you recently visited.
Thanks for the heads up though dude.
Got a little back from the insurance company. I couldn't really push them too hard because the parts appear to be stolen from the dealers yard, and the marine insurance only covers the truck once the transporter picks it up.
Doing my best to replace the parts for cheap; front fogs and bezels off...
We think it rolled too, just not very hard if that makes sense.
Drivers window and windscreen were smashed, fender crushed, wing mirror intact. Drivers door bent, rear door straight. Its bizarre.
Well where did those 3 months go?!
Things are still progressing but at a SUPER slow pace.
Spectre intake is fitted and sexy as hell. Centre piece of grill has a solid perspex panel in it because I cant find Toyota letters to replace the missing letters. Its ugly but will get me through the...
In relation to this, most toyota wheels I'm seeing online are 7jx16 et35
Is that setup ok on a factory truck? What does the extra 10 offset do -make it wider wheelbase or closer to the brake calipers?
This is so confusing.
As mentioned before 35psi is about right. Can go 5 either way depending how nobbly your tyres are. The more mud terrain softer is better so more rubber on the road.
The smoother the tyre, a higher psi will get you better mpg.
Wheel question.
What is the offset on oem trd pro wheels. The stamp says 16x7j 13. I'm guessing the "13" refers to the offset but as it doesn't say et I'm not 100%
Tried to fit some other wheels the other day (8j) and they didnt fit.
So need to know the minimum offset. Any ideas?
Can you fit a non drl headlight in a drl truck?
Think I've come up with an idea. My truck has no headlights so I'm doing all this theory in my head.
Non Drl headlamps are so much cheaper than their drl brother so...
Why not put a switchback bulb in the turn signal socket and take the feed...
Alas I've become a victim of that wretched Corona virus.
I work in travel & tourism and got the call from the boss yesterday saying we're shutting down for a month (minimum) NOT because we're sick, but because nobody can enter the country.
No tourists = No work. Thanks government.
So for now...
