You are correct. The Red Arc will charge the aux battery to full charge but your starting battery will not unless you get the truck reprogrammed to increase the alternator output to 14+. The truck charges the starting battery and the Red Arc charges the aux battery. I'm currently running dual...

Where are you guys mounting your charge controllers? I'm in the process of setting up my dual battery system and was thinking of mounting the controller on top of the fuse box.

I love my falken wildpeak at3's. They're great in the rain, snow, dirt, and dry roads. I would definitely buy them again. I got them at discount tire when they were having a sale and i couldnt find a better price.
