• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Para's 2019 Off-Road DC where all the money went thread

I shelled out for the JL Audio Stealth Box with a 10”, takes up all the storage behind the passenger side rear seat. More than enough bass for me and in hindsight, could have gone with a smaller box behind the drivers side rear seat but I kind of like the driver’s side faster access storage...

Added the tie downs to the Diamondback cover, removed the mudflaps, did the AC drain line mod ... couple other purchases to install.

Definitely want to hear more about that flash version when you get more miles on it.

Yeah, I need to get on that. 5K miles now and it’s been a humid bastard this summer.

When rotating wheels and tires, does the computer need to be “told” where the wheel was relocated to? Or does it figure it out by proximity?

Haven't done anything but did receive a couple of packages from Baja Designs, Pop and Lock, Mountain Hatch and yet another Meso Customs is on the way. Tomorrow is installing the Alpine mic since the stock one doesn't work with the new head unit and fiddling around with the TSS (the garnish...

    907 Alaska Livin'

I drove down it when I ETS’d from Ft. Rich in 1988 ... in a ‘77 VW Rabbit ... with bald tires .... started on April 1st. To top it all off, it was orange, lol. Didn’t let me down though. Jealous, wish I could find a job that pays enough for me to move up to Fairbanks. My sister lives up there...

    CoastieRon's Silver build & BS

Figured it out at lunch today. In the setting somewhere, you enter your fuel tanks total gallon capacity, then the gage will give you percentage left. Sorry I can’t tell you how to get there, I was so deep and lost in the menu, lol.

Ah, it won't start because your negative is not connected to the battery. Bwahahaha. But seriously, where did you get the plate that the terminal blocks are mounted on? And can you still open the stock fuse box with it on? If I keep accessorizing, and I see no reason not to, I'll need to do...

PCS and Cruise Control sensor issue

Mine is horked up, doesn't like the lower position at all. Errors out within 20 minutes pretty consistently. I need to try and find a dealer that will re-calibrate for the Pro Grill.

    Ovtune Questions

Interesting, looking forward to seeing what this will have. Have had 1.05 but recently have had to disconnect the battery so the fuel trims or whatever were lost so I'm back into learning mode. Pretty pleased with it so far, well worth the expense in my case.

Para's 2019 Off-Road DC where all the money went thread

Had a busy weekend and updated my opening post; audio (will be deaf again in no time) and some map light LEDs and the Tacoma lettering on the back. Need to get some more pics after the rains pass and I can wash it proper. I'm getting too old for the stereo install stuff. The plug and play...
