I removed my seat and zip-tied both my weboost and midland radio to the bottom of the seat so it wasnt sitting on the ground. Have had zero issues with the HVAC on either of the units.
Drive my taco in a few weeks at cabin fever with the KDMAX PRO tune, I can tow my trailer on the highway in 5th/6th gear without any issues (5.29's as well). Truck drives even better without the trailer, no gear hunting in the overdrive gears on the highway
I have a similar sound at the moment, but mine occurs when the truck is coasting at speed. Im guessing its more than likely a loose bolt or bad bearing

I have a lightly used set of King 2.5 x 8" Smooth Body Shocks w/ Finned Resis for sale. I also have a 2016+ Tacoma King rear Bumpstop kit available (bumpstops were rebuilt about 500 miles ago, new seals/oil/collars), does not include strike plate for leaf springs.

Bumpstops - $550...

Mpg @ 3000-4500 rpm: 8-12 mpg*
To be honest...I havent noticed any mileage change from stock to 5.29's when I changed. The way the truck accelerates is dramatically different, and the...
Almost impossible to diagnose without a video of the sound in that area, double check your hardware from your lift so that everything is tight. Have you grabbed your exhaust (while cool) and shaken it to see if you can replicate the sound?
I would highly recommend not doing that... Your bed and cab flex differently from each other and can put different strains on the lines. If you used something more flexible like paracord you could do it, but not with a steel line.
Big pass... I'll move to the new 4runner or bronco or something else before I bought that body style Tacoma, that's a big disappointment if that's an accurate rendering
