• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Yeah, I really like having it, don't have to unlock my phone to use it and if someone is in the car with me and they wanna play a specific song they can just say hey spotify, no need for me to hand them the aux cord or give them my unlocked phone while I'm driving 😂

So I don't have the measurements for mine, but this looks like it's gonna be it. It's just that and a small bungie cord through the outer holes around the Headrest poles, I did cross them over too so the right side cable is latched to the left side Headrest pole and left is hooked up with right...

Honestly, found it in my house 😅 don't know how long I've had it but I'm sure you can find something like this easily enough at any office supply store?

It's a spotify car thing, basically syncs up with spotify via Bluetooth on your phone and shows you what song you're listening to with album art and everything, you can even use "hey spotify" commands to change to a specific song or switch playlists or whatnot. Safer than fishing for it in the...

Super cheap and simple interior "mod" for keeping cleaning supplies, or any number of things, on hand! (access cab taco btw)

    Door speakers

Turns out the access cab also has rear speakers in the access doors, I had no idea lmao. But yeah just upgrading the main door speakers

    Door speakers

Well I actually have an access cab and I'm trying to upgrade the main door speakers

    Door speakers

So, does anyone know if I can just slap in some 450w pioneer speakers in place of the factory door speakers without an amp? The box says they fit the door on the tacoma but it doesn't really specify if I need to add external power or not, not that I can see at least. They're the Pioneer TS900M...

    Brush Guards

Yeah honestly, I don't really care about what anyone says, really just wanted to see the general consensus on brush guards but I'm finding that I'm really just going to do whatever I want and just mmmmmblock out all the haters

    Brush Guards

Yeah, I'm not trying to lift it or add huge tires, I just really like the way they look with brush guards on, I am going to be getting a new set of wheels but again, not trying to get anything bigger or lift the truck.

    Brush Guards

I mean, my main goal isn't to make it look like it does cool things, I'm well aware that even stock it's capable of doing very cool things. I will be taking it to the lake once it's warms up and I go night fishing all the time so the lights will be used eventually. But right now it's really more...

    Brush Guards

You know, it was pretty heavy, but didn't really seem to affect ride quality or milage in the slightest, or if it did it was negligible at worst. Personally again, it's purely for cosmetics. I really like the way it looks and I'm actually going for a pretty specific look, hopefully more pics of...
