• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Considerations when going to 35" tires?

I have a 6 inch Pro Comp lift on mine. I’ve always driven full size trucks so a Tacoma on 33’s just didn’t do it for me. I chose the Pro Comp over a 3 inch because I didn’t have to cut up everything to fit 35’s. Most can’t give a good reason as to why a drop bracket isn't good, I’ve been on...

    Slider Cost Comparison

Anyone know if there is a company somewhere near Atlanta makes sliders? Would prefer to pick up instead of spending hundreds to ship.

Leaf Spring Comparison: All-Pro, Allcan, Icon, Dobinsons, Deavers, Archive, Dakars

I purchased my truck with a 6" pro comp lift. Total height of the rear is actually 5". Alcan seems to be the only company that I have contacted that will actually make the custom leafs for me.

    Upgrading pro comp 6” lift

Hey y’all, so I bought my Tacoma new with the basic pro comp 6” lift installed. Rear blocks in the back and just a big block up front. I’m wanting to upgrade the components for a better ride on and off road. I see a lot of smaller lifts and haven’t come across a lot for the 6”. I know the better...

    Aftermarket Seat Heating

Hey all, I ordered the replacement leather seat "covers" from Relations Race Wheels. While everything is apart I figured I might as well make the seats heated. So my question is, for those who have installed aftermarket versions what brand and all that are you running and how have they held up...

New to Toyota, Quicksand TRD offroad

Interesting that they think it's the Meso Key fob, did they give any reason for that thought? Plenty of us have them so if it becomes an issue I'm sure we will hear more about it. Recently after 5 months (starting around 5k miles) of no cruise control, stability control, and my crawl control not...

    Tonneau cover

I love my Agricover Lomax hard tri fold. Bakflip and Gator have always leaked like crazy for me, but the Lomax seals very well. After twenty minutes of heavy downpour through the Georgia mountains yesterday there was no water in the bed. I personally think it looks cleaner too. Install was quick...
