CV Axle Boot Leaking, Any recommendations for CV Axle Replacements beside OEM for 3" lift?

Hey guys. Went camping the first weekend of the year and may have sent it just a little too hard...ended up breaking a boot on one of my CV Axles (and denting my stock skid plate in pretty far) so all-in-all, not terrible. Wondering if anyone has upgraded their CV Axles or gone with anything...

    Spare Tire Options

I have a 285/70/17 on my 2018 DCLB on a stock TRD Sport Wheel. Like the above post reads it will just hang a little lower and you have to be a little more careful when hoisting the tire into place so it doesn't get pressed up against the tailpipe. Other than that I've been running it that way...

Too much Positive Camber ( Visually) after 3'' lift

Gotcha. We’ve got a local lift shop that does some pretty off the wall stuff. I called them and they said they’ve been able to get it much closer to aligned with stock UCAs but that if I want it done right I’ll need UCAs. I’ve got an appointment with them in a couple weeks. Gonna replace the...

Bigger Tires on Stock TRD Sport Wheel

Agreed. That would be an awesome post if anyone had experience in it. The only guys I know around my area have stock Sports or lifted OR so I can’t tell if there’s any difference.

Bigger Tires on Stock TRD Sport Wheel

I appreciate it! The truck turned out how I wanted it, but I would eventually like to get away from the spacers. Most likely when it hits 100k I’ll put on upgraded coilovers and leaf-packs versus the spacers along with a different wheel setup and adjustable UCAs. After doing some looking I think...

Bigger Tires on Stock TRD Sport Wheel

So far so good. Very slightly louder than I expected with an A/T but not bad. Found them for $400 for a set of 5 off a new Gladiator so I couldn’t pass that up but I think I’ll be happy with them.

Bigger Tires on Stock TRD Sport Wheel

Took the truck back to the alignment shop and there’s about 1 degree of positive camber which is in spec and they said that’s fine. Another alignment shop that also installs lifts said it was fine as well, so I’m going with it. Finally got the tires (Falken Wildpeak AT3W 285/70r17) and had them...

    Shimmy/vibration after leveling

Did you ever resolve this issue? I’m running the same set up and I’m having the same issue. I installed the t-case drop kit that can with the lift.

Too much Positive Camber ( Visually) after 3'' lift

What do you recommend? Do I need to replace the uppers and lowers?

Too much Positive Camber ( Visually) after 3'' lift

I appreciate the advise but right now it’s just not in the budget. Probably in the next 6 months. But, I went to the alignment shop I went and another that specializes in lowering and lift kits. The truck is showing around 1 degree of positive camber on the passenger and drivers side. The...

Huh, looks like I might need to go back to the alignment shop.
