Build update: Made the trip to East Coast Gear Supply to get 5.29 gears installed. Trip was 918 miles and 15 hours with gas and food stops. We’re going to hang around North Carolina and Tennessee and make a little vacation out of it while I break in the gears.

Got new 5.29 gears in the Shitbox today!

After putting my bumper on 2 1/2 months ago, I finally relocated my camera and wired up the license plate lights.

I’m curious just how low the 5.29s are going to be with 33s and MT. I wasn’t planning to bump up to 315s until these 295s wear out. Ah that sucks about the carrier.

Called ECGS, ordered 5.29s and set a date to get em installed. I’ve been putting this off for way too long. So I didn’t actually do anything to the truck, but damn I’m excited.

I’m jealous. A lot of y’all have such kick ass places to wheel. Even if you aren’t wheeling, you have interesting places with some nice scenery. I have to pay a membership to wheel on private property and if I want to wheel “in the wild”, it’s at least a few hours drive. Anything beyond those...
