This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.
Definitely!! Love this guy. He teaches us so much! I can tell he's honest, because there's just no reason for him to tell us everything he knows, other than just honestly trying to help us!!This is a fantastic video and why I stick with 5k intervals as well the first OCI early.

Gear Oil for the 3rd Gen - GL 4 vs GL 5 / Differentials, Transfer and MT
My input on the subject. Thought I would mention this as fluids get hard to find and when found can be expensive. We all know the MT6 (manual transmission) needs GL 4 because of the syncro/blocks made of brass rings and other grades besides GL4 will cause problems. Front and rear differentials...tacoma3g.com
