• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

What else is in your garage?!

Girlfriend has a 2015 GX460, stock

My other vehicle is a 2012 SLK350

1995 Subaru Outback with 367,000 miles on it (which is why I'm looking for an upgrade), the hubby has a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, which we use to tow this guy.

(no pics of the Outback, but trust me, you can see every one of those 367K miles on it)

2014 tC 6spd is the daily. FBO + tuned + bumpin audio system. Best car I've ever owned, but will probably be going away in the next year so I can pick up a project. I really want to build an MK3 Supra.

My 1974 VW Super Beetle. I've had it since 2015. Not the most stylish of Classic Cars. But one hell of driving experience.
No power anything. Just 4 wheels, the 1600cc Dual Port motor in the back, and cramped interior. The car still has that familiar "Old VW" smell.
It needs some cosmetic work, but that will come in time. Engine has been semi-rebuilt, and new interior and most of the window rubber has been replaced. When I get out of the Tacoma and get in this I feel like I'm riding in a golf cart.

NICE!!! I drove a '74 Standard in high school, was such a good car. I'd love to find another one!

When we had our son in 2019 I had a Mk7 Golf R and my wife had a Mk7 GTI. We both wanted something larger to drive our little treasure around in. I got the Tacoma and my wife got a CX-5. He’s almost 5 now so we decided to dip a toe back into a fun car and replaced her Mazda with a 2024 Mk8 Golf R.
