Wheel fitment

1️⃣ Getting Started...
I have a stock 2023 off-road tacoma I’m currently looking at the kmc km236 tank wheels they 17x9 with -15 offset. Planning on running 32” or lower tires what do I have to in order for these to fit. I don’t mind chopping inner liner I just don’t want to rub suspension or have to do body mount chop or relocation.

With that offset and tire size you should generally be fine not to rub. You should not have to chop anything for a 32" depending on width, but all these trucks seem to be different, so it's really a game of chances. With a 32" though, I would imagine the most you might have to do would be get aligned at a competent shop and have them bump up your caster to be a bit more positive than factory spec, but throw em on and see where you're at.

FWIW I'm a 17x8.5 -10 with a 285/70 (33") and had to CMC and get UCA's that allow me to push my caster to 4 degrees, but now I should have clearance to fit a 285/75 (34") which will be my next tire size. Also not sure what tires you were looking at, but don't get Ridge Grapplers, they suck in every environment.

Awesome thank you for the response. I forgot to mention I’m still at stock height still trying to figure out suspension as well.

17x9 with -15 offset on a stock Tacoma is pushing it, especially with 32s. You'll almost certainly need to trim the inner fender liner, and maybe even the pinch weld. 32s might rub at full lock depending on the tire's sidewall. A small lift (even just a leveling kit) would make a huge difference in preventing rubbing on the suspension.

Yea I agree at the very least I’d need to throw on a leveling kit and maybe adjustable control arms for the time being until I figure out what suspension I want to put on

Okay so I found another wheel that I’m looking at because the kmc wheel I was looking at is beadlock and thinking about I really don’t need a beadlock wheel for my means. I’m looking at either black rhino arsenal or the armory both are 16x8 with -10 offset. If I were to run 265/75r16 on these wheels would I rub at stock height?
