Hello everyone,

Have any of you try to put the 2024 Tacoma original rims into a 2018 Tacoma? Bolt pattern are the same but I keep hearing you must use spacer to be able to use those rims.

Please advise, Thanks!

That is correct. Toyota downsized the hub for some reason in 2024 so the newer wheels need to be spaced to clear that since our hubs are wider. It looks like they have way higher offset as well so you might want to run a thick spacer anyway so the wheels aren't super sunk into the truck and can clear the suspension components. Not to mention 18's are too big for the third gen. 16-17 is the sweet spot depending on tire size.

I'd just go with a proven aftermarket option and gain a better overall look and fitment. And in many cases a decent aftermarket wheel is lighter, which makes the truck a little nicer to drive.
