Greasable u joints on 23'

2023TxTaco

2️⃣ Bronze
I'm away from my truck for a few days, but I'm wondering if my 23 Sport 4x4 6spd manual has greasable ujoints on the front driveshaft? It has a cat shield so it's a bit of a pita to check. I thought they did away with them on the later 3g.

Thank you. I appreciate your response
FYI its a good idea / recommended to change front / rear differentials - transfer case and manual transmission at 30,000

Front / Rear Diff's use GL5 LT 75/85 - Transfer Case is LF 75W Use Toyota Brand...... (expensive BUT its the right stuff and only uses 1 Liter)
Whatever you do remember you MUST use GL4 for the manual transmission. I use MT90 from Red Line.
Red Line Company has all of these special blends (so do "other" companies BUT if you go wrong with these oils, you are replacing expensive stuff.

MANY transmissions shops will fill the transmission with GL5 as most cars today will accept it,...... it WILL destroy the syncro-bushings.
The Tacoma is a GL4 MT6, do not let anyone talk you into using GL5 it will eat the metals and the transmission is done.
The Transfer case also has brass components. Do not try and find a cheaper easy way around the GL4 requirement.

Watch the whole thing for ALL the info............ BUT I will start here

Another question,
What size is the head on the clutch bleeder screw? I'm ordering stainless steel speed bleeders for the brakes, just throw the clutch bleeder in the mix, she asked me if the clutch bleeder was a M10 or M11 head. I have no idea and won't be back for a few days to check.
Thanks,
