cab ceiling Velcro patches

Am I losing my mind or did I dream the ceiling in gen3 Tacos can accommodate Velcro patches? Got my first couple of Velcro patches and they do not stick. Not sure why I thought they would.

You can use Velcro "double sided" tape it has adhesive on both the hook and loop sides.
Depending on what side you need to stick to the ceiling fabric.

Get the 3M heavy duty as it sticks better,...... it will come off if needed without damaging the ceiling.

So the gen2s work really good with velcro patches but the gen3s use a different material for the headliner. Here is my solution, note that if you don't get strong enough glue the velcro tape will lose adhesion when the cab is hot, just remember fuzzy side sticks to roof, pointy side goes to patch

thank you, not sure where I saw that the gen3 would hold patches without having to stick the soft stuff to the headliner

maybe it was from someone in a gen2

I've seen people do it on Gen3s by pushing up and twisting the patch, but it never works very well or for very long
