Lava road

possibly a ghost :(
A “Happy New Year”. To say it in Hawaiian….”Hau’oli Makahiki Hou”
Hau’oli - “how-oh-Lee”
Makahiki - “ma-Kah-hee-kee”
Hou- “ho”
“Happy New Year”. In the Hawaiian language…
We also speak “pigeon “ ..if you have being to Hawaii..? You know what this is about…”I no can hear”
“You PAU” …”Where stay” …means - where did you put it at..lol

“ Hau’oli Makahiki Hou. to the new year. …the year of 2022 …May it starts to lead to a better and safer year…!

Let’s all do our part in staying safe and protected….in the “New Year of 2022….

To paddle a canoe…to go faster and farther and win it’s many races…to become a “WINNER “ everyone must paddle together…if one decide’s in theory…and NOT believe in the Science? …why everyone should paddle and they decided NOT to paddle like everyone else? We could continue to lose …
May the future have everyone paddling in the same direction….to a better and safer future…2022 …2023…2024…and beyond !

Tako truck ….Tako is the Japanese word for “ Octopus”. A super popular food to eat in Hawaii..eaten raw or cook…often made into “Poke dish”. ( a season dish)….
Raw Tako is also a very popular fishing bait…from strips to using the whole Tako for bait…One of my flavorite baits to catch all kinds of fishes…consider to be one of the top shoreline fishing baits in Hawaii!

Kama aina …today refers to people who live in Hawaii ..especially for a long time….
Today anyone with a Hawaii ‘s Driver license or a Hawaii State ID ..is now consider a “Kama aina”
Often you will see special “discounts” offers to only “Kama aina’s )….meaning the local people..NOT visitors…

How many Kama ainas do we have here?
Aloha,
