Help! 4x4 Mid skid

1️⃣ Getting Started...
I’m experiencing some challenges installing the mid-skid on my 2016+ Tacoma. Has anyone here successfully installed it?

I’ve already contacted Vic4x4, but I’d appreciate insights from those who have dealt with this firsthand rather than just hearing, “It should work.” If you’ve installed this component, did you run into any issues, and how did you resolve them?

Make sure all bolts will hand screw in first before you try to install the plate.
Then hand screw ALL the bolts thru the plate before tightening,....... screw each bolt in 1/3 to 1/2 way DO NOT TIGHTEN any of them yet.
Once all bolts are "started" and are holding the plate in place tighten each bolt evenly in a circular pattern to keep the plate "on target".
When all bolts are installed tighten / torque each one in a circular pattern.

Tips:
Take your time - have someone OR a floor jack to help hold the plate "up" while you get the bolts "started".
