• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

I lifted my truck, no errors.
Replaced the windshield, no errors.
Hit a pothole and got another alignment
and had the error screen.

Part of the safety system monitors pitch and yaw relative to the direction of the steering wheel.
The ecu records the center position and trips an error if it changes.
Not every alignment will change it, but a big adjustment will.
This is when you need a zero point recalibration.
I think most alignment shops know this.
But my bodunk town shop did not.

Most 3rd gens can reset it with the paper clip method. See the manual.
2020 and newer you need to erase the ABS error code.
I bought a scanner and erased the code myself.
